Dana Zastrow

Dana Zastrow is a relationship-driven professional and servant leader passionate about connecting people, building strategic partnerships, and creating opportunities for mutual success.

With a degree in Psychology and Sociology from St. John’s University, Dana brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit development, higher education, and corporate relations. Most recently, she led industry engagement initiatives at Georgia Tech and Emory University in Atlanta, GA, expanding employer partnerships, career opportunities, and mentorship programs for biomedical engineering students.

As the new Industry and Employer Relations Manager at UC San Diego’s Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute, Dana is excited to strengthen connections between students and industry. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she looks forward to exploring San Diego and becoming actively involved in the community through volunteering and service.
